Our Educational Philosophy

We prioritise:

Holistic Development
Supporting children’s cognitive, emotional, social and physical development through engaging and developmentally appropriate experiences.

Family and Community Engagement
Building strong partnerships with families and the community to create a supportive network around every child.

Inclusive Environment
Celebrating diversity and ensuring all children feel respected, included and valued.

Lifelong Learning
Encouraging curiosity, creativity, exploration, problem-solving and critical thinking to inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Our Nurturing Key Educator Approach
Children thrive when they feel safe, secure and supported. Through our Key Educator approach, each child develops strong, trusting relationships with educators who take the time to truly know and understand them.

These secure attachments support children’s confidence, emotional wellbeing and learning outcomes.

ducators work closely with small groups and individual children while maintaining strong communication with families about children’s progress, interests and achievements.

We value family involvement and encourage parents to participate in centre events, activities and learning experiences.

Government Funded Kindergarten Program
Our three-year-old and four-year-old kindergarten programs are led by passionate, university-qualified early childhood teachers who inspire children’s love of learning through engaging play-based experiences. Parent Gap fees are waved for two days during Gov funded kinder days.

Children develop important skills for school and life, including confidence, independence, communication, emotional regulation and problem-solving, helping them transition successfully into primary school.

Our strong transition-to-school program includes weekly visits from local schools, excursions to nearby classrooms and experiences that support both academic and emotional readiness for school.

Strong Relationships with Families
We work closely with families to ensure each child’s individual needs, strengths and interests are reflected within our learning programs and goals.

Through Kindyhub, we maintain ongoing communication with families and share children’s learning, development and achievements regularly.

At PLAY N LEARN ELC, we are committed to creating a warm, supportive and inspiring learning environment where children feel confident, capable and connected as they grow and learn.
